The Accusation of Quoting of Other Religions

(Christianity, Judaism etc)

By Dr. Ahmed Adeeb Ahmed

This is an attempt to distort the Nusayrite Alawite creed and to accuse Alawism of integrating Jewish concepts in their beliefs. This is fabrication because we believe in the teachings of Muhammed, Moses, Jesus, Solomon, David and all the Prophets (PBUT).

We cite their sayings and abide by their teachings, as we apply the sayings of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and the Imams (Peace be upon them).

This combination of all prophets’ instructions, is not related to the rites of other nations, because the rites are made by the clerics in all sects.

We, as Alawites Nusayrite, do not follow humans’ sayings in our creed, but the Infallibles (peace be upon them). It is in compliance with the saying of the Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS): “The person, who joins religion according to men’s opinions, he will abandon his belief because of them, but the one who depends on Quran and Sunna, will continue even if mountains vanish”.

Explanation of terms used:

  • Creed: A system of Christian or other religious belief; a faith.
  • Infallible: Prophets, messengers and imams.
  • Infallibility: The quality of being infallible; the inability to be wrong.
