Accusation of Quranic Instigation to Murder
Accusation of Quranic Instigation to Murder
By Dr. Ahmed Adeeb Ahmed
Our topic is common and thorny. They are trying to throw the religion of Islam with their poisoned arrows and claiming that the Quran instigates murder, God forbid!
Does the Holy Quran instigate criminality, slaughter, murder and criminality really? What is the concept of fighting and killing in Islam? And What is the interpretation of the Quranic verses calling for fighting?
Unfortunately, we are subject today to Western and Zionist interpretations of the Noble Quran on the topic of killing of the Noble Qur’an on the subject of killing, and thus forget how tolerant the religion of Islam is.
Many people think that many verses in the Quran instigate in their superficial linguistic meaning to fight and bloody killings, and they find no scientific explanation for it.
These verses were used by everyone who sought to spread his Authority by the power of the sword from the time of the Islamic conquests during the reign of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (the Rashidiya Caliphate), in the time of Omar ben alkhatab to the era of the Umayyad and Abbasids, and to the terror of Jabhat al-Nusra, ISIS, Wahhabis and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Does the Quran really instigate violence or is it a dangerous suspicion? Based on the words of the prince of the Faithful, Imam Ali (PBUH) “The suspicion is called suspicion, because it resembles the right”. Especially simple-minded people got confused and this led them to denial vis-à-vis these verses and to atheism.
They became dissociated, because belonging to humanity by the way we see today is not belonging, how man belongs to a team without a leader, or to a boat without a captain!?
Imam Ali Reda (Peace be from him) says: “In the book of God, there is nothing to eat, drink, wear or ride, but they are all ostensible examples”. The concept of examples is very important. God gives examples to people, not vice versa. Therefore, this heavenly book is not naive or superficial, but is greater and more. The examples (in Quran) was used in everything to prove the argument and differentiate the believer from the unbeliever.
I will give some examples before going into our main topic:
Is it possible that the angels disobey God in their response to him, knowing that they are mental lights have no dense (which is one of our attributes)?
Is it acceptable for God to prohibit adultery in this life and allow it in the Hereafter, when He mentions the (fair complexioned, large-eyed women) (nymph) (Virgins Al-Hour Al-Eeen)?
Is it permissible for taboos and unclean acts in Paradise? Is it permissible for God to punish some people for slaughtering camels? Is it acceptable for the great divine miracle to be a cow, a camel, or any other animal?
How can alcohol in this life be prohibited and allowed in the Hereafter? Or is it permissible for the alcohol that we were ordered to avoid, to become rivers in paradise?
What is the secret of the difference between the way of prayer, fasting or pilgrimage between the Mohammedan, Christian and Mosaic law?
Is it acceptable for a Muslim to fast as the fast of Mary? or the Christian to fast as the fast of Abdullah?
If the father of the all prophets Adam (PBUH) was seduced by a woman in the purified paradise, who is this prophet we are commanded to follow? What is his value? Will seduction happen in paradise?
Does Satan sneak into the purified world of paradise, in the form of a snake?
We must make our minds work. It is always necessary to think and improve the understanding of Qur’anic discourse, which is rich in proverbs and symbols that only those who are worthy understand it, in order to achieve divine justice. Justice does not mean equality for all people, instead, it means that everyone must take his right according to his merit, which he obtains thanks to precedence and diligence.
For God Almighty, says: “Say, Are the blind and the seeing alike? Do you not think?” (6:50). And his saying: “Say, are those who know and those who do not know equal?”, only those possessed of reason will remember” (39:9). And His saying: “Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise, the companions of Paradise – they are the attainders [of success]” (59:20). Believe God Almighty.
Going back to our main topic about fighting and killing I begin by quoting the words of God: In the name of Allah the Merciful, “So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves, that is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator, then He accepted your repentance; indeed He is the Accepting of repentance the Merciful” (2:54). Believe God Almighty.
Here, we wonder: Does repenting to God mean killing the soul that God has forbidden (except for just cause), while The Almighty says:” if anyone slays a human being-unless it be [in punishment] for murder or for spreading corruption on earth-it shall be as though he had slain all mankind;”? (5:32).
The killing of the soul is to cut it off the worldly relations and cleanse it from the pleasures of the worldly life, and to elevate it to higher standings in the way of progression (promotion), so that the act of killing (in the verse) was not a physical act but rather a mental moral act.
All the verses that talk about fighting between believers and polytheists, talk about intellectual conflict, not physical killing. So, In the Almighty sayings: “Truly the polytheists are impure; so, let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque” (9:28). This indicates that the case is not a killing in the physical sense, otherwise, our master Muhammad (PBUH) would have killed all the polytheists and did not pardon them upon the conquest of Mecca and the killing would have been a duty of every impure even if it was a man in the state of Janabah or a menstruating woman !?
The impurity of the polytheists stands against the purity of the believers. This latter is achieved by their loyalty to the imams peace be upon them, because the polytheist is the one who exhibit his loyalty to both God’s awliya and God’s enemies, as mentioned by our master Jesus (PBUH): “Woe to you, woe to you, you who praise evil, and call evil good, because you judge God as a sinner while he is the originator of righteousness, and you present Satan as righteous while he is the source of all evil, so consider the penalty that will befall you”.
These are the polytheists because of their fake loyalty, where Imam Ali (PBUH) says: “Our love and the love of our enemy do not meet in the heart of a human being”.
Is it conceivable that the believer loves Imam Ali and the tyrant Muawiya together? Or Imam Hussein and the heretic Yazid together?
Imagine polytheism in their saying: “The battle of Siffin was between the dignified companion Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) and the dignified companion Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him), God forbids!!
Or in their saying: “This is the shrine of the great companion Hujr ibn Uday (May Allah be pleased with him), who was killed by the great companion Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him)”!!
How can God be pleased with the wicked criminal tyrant Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan who killed the great companion Ammar bin Yasser, who said to him the Messenger of Allah (PBUH):” The group of tyrants will kill you”. The impure polytheism is the combination between the loyalty to God’s awliya and the loyalty of enemies under the pretext of islamic unity and this applies to anyone who killed Zaid ibn Haritha, Abu Dhar al-Ghafari, Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, etc.
All the great companions, the honorable and the pure by their loyalty to Ahl Al-bayt (peace be upon them).
Our fight against these polytheists is an intellectual and moral fight by clarifying their polytheism to prove and clarify the argument, so that they may be guided to be loyal to the God’s awliya and to avoid the enemies of God, and Until the right is realized, because Allah Almighty says: “And fight them until there is no fitnah (discord) and until the religion belongs completely to Allah”. And this intellectual fighting is an obligation, in order to uphold the word of truth, for the Almighty says: “Fight in the cause of God, and know that God is Hearing and Knowing” (2:244).
This is a necessary jihadi duty, for God Almighty says: “Fighting is ordained for you, even though you dislike it. But it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you, and it may be that you like something while it is bad for you. God knows, and you do not know” (2:216).
How many people appear to be religious, and claim to follow the path of truth, while we see them hypocrite, complimentary, and they hate going into a struggle of truth and falsehood in their loyalties, to satisfy people and anger God, just as those who left the army of Osama. The Messenger of God said in them: “God cursed all those who left the army of Osama”.
Perhaps the struggle between the people of truth and falsehood intensifies, and then the power of the people of truth must intensify because God Almighty says: “And kill them wherever you find them”. Meaning; confront them with argument and proof, “and expel them from where they had expelled you” (2:191), meaning; as they accused you of polytheism, atheism, and hyperbole, you must explain their polytheism, their atheism, hypocrisy, disbelief, and hyperbole, and not be ashamed of that, as you condemn, you will be condemned, “and fitnah is worse than killing” (2:191). Because their sedition that they follow in distorting the facts, and sabotaging the approach to the truth, is more difficult for weak people than your killing of them, by revealing their truth in which people are fascinated and mislead them for the path of God.
“And do not fight them at Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al- Haram) until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers” (2:191). This verse means that not to fight them at Sacred Mosque, because the Sacred Mosque represents the status of prophethood that everyone who belongs to Islam unanimously agreed upon. The dispute between the people of truth and falsehood is not over the prophecy of our master Muhammad (PBUH). Therefore, the fight is against those who have become enemies of God’s saints after our master Muhammad (PBUH). But if they begin to offend the Holy Prophet (PBUH),by describing him as a lover of women, slave of his desires, forgetting, dreamer, disobedient, nepotism (preferring blood kinship) … etc. Here defending the standing of the prophecy is an obligation because, defending the status of the prophecy is necessary to expose their polytheism and their false doctrines and this is the meaning of their intended killing. And always the people of the truth prevail because God Almighty says: “Those who believe, fight in the cause of Allah, while those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Evil), So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak” (4:76).
Those who possess the tools of intellectual fighting, including knowledge, philosophy and logic, must teach, train and urge their brothers of believers to use them to uphold the word of truth. for God Almighty’s saying: “O Prophet, urge the believers to fight. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand” (8:65).
And saying: “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of God and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom God knows” (8:60).
Look at this intensity, courage, strength, violence, and dignity that God Almighty wanted for believers. As for those who sow fear, cowardice, appeasement, petting and hypocrisy, they are helping the enemies of the truth over the people of the truth. It is strange for these to stand this cowardly position while God says: “Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has righter that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers”. Believe God Almighty”. (9:13).
A protester may protest against us by accusing the Quran of promoting beheadings, cutting off fingers and mutilating bodies in the Almighty saying: “[Remember] when your Lord revealed to the angels, I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] above the necks and strike from them every fingertip” (8:12).
We say to whomever understood the verse in that sense: The speech is a revelation to the angels and not to human beings. Is it possible that the angels of Heaven descend to execute this bloody act?
And how does light (angels) in this way deal with clay?
Knowing that he did not say: (Cut off the necks), but rather: “Strike above the necks”.
This is a sign from God Almighty to disrupt the intellectual movement of sedition that spreads heresy and suspicions. It seeks to stop them from writing with their hands and fingers and spreading toxins through their books and literature. This is his saying almighty: “and strike from them every fingertip”. Because the blatant word of truth that we say sow’s terror in their hearts and disrupts them from spreading further sedition. For almighty saying: “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved”. As for complacency and silence on our part, it will make them harsher and more belligerent towards us, and they will not stop writing and publishing heresies by all possible means and methods.
The same thing, in the Almighty saying: “The punishment for those who fight God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption on earth, is that they be killed, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the land. That is to disgrace them in this life; and in the Hereafter they will have a terrible punishment” (5:33).
The aforementioned sanction is not an invitation to the practice of torture and abuse by us. This is how the Umayyads, Abbasids, Ottomans, terrorists, and all takfiris understood that.
No, it is wrong, because the sanction is not from humans to humans, but from God to humans. This is their punishment that they receive because of their negligence and their committed sins, and God does not oppress anyone. No, we are not the ones who kill them and crucify them. Whoever is subjected – from the people of faith – to these brutal acts, this will be purification, refinement and upgrading for him, so that he becomes purer and meets the face of his Lord while he is pure from his sins. But if he is one of the people of disbelief and polytheism, then this is a punishment for him in this life, and he will have a great punishment in the Hereafter. Only God knows what is in the souls and we do not know, and he is the Wise, the Knower.
In the conclusion of our topic on the suspicion of incitement to murder in the Holy Qur’an, I say: This is part of our upscale deep Alawite understanding of the verses of the Holy Quran which is free from falsehood. It is as almighty says: “This is the speech of a noble messenger. Endowed with eminent power with the Lord of the Throne. obedient and reliable” (81:19-21). This understanding of the truth of the conflict and how it is fought applies to all the verses mentioned in directing the eternal struggle between truth and falsehood until the day of judgement. Whoever wants to understand and be convinced is better for him, and whoever denies us our saying has stood by those who did not understand the Qur’an except its superficial linguistic meaning. Praise be to God who guided us, and we would have not been guided if God had not guided us.
